Baby Boomers began retiring in 2012 and many predict that we will begin to feel the full impact of this in the next couple of years. As baby boomers retire, or near retirement their needs change. Given that many in this cohort will have about 25 years of their life to navigate through, financial services increases in importance particularly as these clients (usually the top 20 % of your base which contribute 80% of practice revenues) move through the various stages of retirement.
